Dictionary questions
Where do the definitions come from?+
From Princeton WordNet, a large, long-standing English lexical database. It covers common words very well and has no slang, brand names or the newest words.
Does it handle different word forms?+
Mostly. It looks for the base form when you type a common variant, so “studies” finds “study” and “ran” finds “run”. Rare irregular forms may not resolve; try the base form then.
Does it have pronunciation?+
Not yet.
